BRINGING KIDS TO WORK? KEEP EM BUSY!
Now that the kids are out of school for the summer, my 6 year old daughter is always asking me to bring her to my work. I’m in the music biz so there is usually something fun going on (for her). I can’t take one and not the other, so I have my 2 yr old son as well. They’re pretty good - but they can get bored quick so I have to find things to keep em busy while i work.
Today - I found some leftover Hefty Zoo Pals plates from a party (i guess). Not sure why we have kids plates here, but maybe it was a blessing from the patron saints of daddys. Either way, never look a gift horse in the mouth…i’l take em! Thinking fast - these turned out to be a very easy project. So, instead of answering some of my thousand emails, I’m at my desk making masks. Yes!
What you’ll need:
- Hefty Zoo Pals Plates (you can prob just use regular plates and draw your own faces too…but I’m not trying to do all that right now)
- rubber bands (or string)
It’s pretty self explanatory, cut holes in the eyes, make holes on the sides for the rubber bands to keep the mask on their faces and whah-la. Instant fun. For a few bucks you potentially get 20 different masks, so it’s a cheap thrill.
